Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a preference for SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide onsite services in a school setting located near Kenner, LA. The position offers a contract role for the remainder of the current school year, with potential for renewal in the following year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in a school environment.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to support student development.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with preference for Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Experience working within school settings and familiarity with educational regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly within the hours of 8:20 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.
  • Commitment to student-centered service and collaborative teamwork.

Location and Schedule:

  • Onsite position located in New Orleans, LA (close to Kenner).
  • Flexible hours within a MondayThursday schedule, between 8:20 AM and 4:00 PM.
  • Immediate start with a contract extending through the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year, and possible renewal for the 2026/2027 year.
