A contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in school-based care, serving an elementary-only caseload for the 2025-2026 school year in Los Angeles, CA. This role focuses on delivering physical therapy services within an educational setting, supporting the developmental and functional needs of young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy evaluations, treatment, and consultative services tailored to elementary school students.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and assist with student transitions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license with experience in pediatric or school-based therapy.
  • Familiarity with school systems, pediatric therapy practices, and IEP processes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of elementary-aged students effectively.
  • Commitment to supporting the educational and physical development of children.

Position Details:

  • Location: Los Angeles, CA
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Either 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Contract duration: 2025-2026 school year
