Job Details

Job Title: Electrical Quality Engineer
Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Quality Engineer to support the integration, validation, and quality assurance of electrical systems across the product lifecycle. This role will focus on ensuring that electrical components, wiring systems, and integrated electronics meet all performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in complex electrical systems within manufacturing, marine, aerospace, or defense environments.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure quality and compliance across electrical systems including wiring, harnessing, control systems, and integrated electronics
Support inspection and validation of electrical installations, routing, and system integration
Partner with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve electrical quality issues
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for electrical nonconformances
Review and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
Support testing and validation activities, including system-level functional testing and troubleshooting
Ensure adherence to applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and industry requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on electrical system reliability and performance
Maintain documentation, reporting, and traceability for electrical quality processes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in electrical quality, electrical engineering, or related roles in manufacturing, marine, aerospace, or defense environments
Strong understanding of electrical systems including wiring, harnessing, control systems, and integration
Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and specifications
Familiarity with electrical testing, troubleshooting, and validation processes
Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements
Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
