Job Details
- Handle substantive labor and employment matters for employer clients
- Advise employers on workplace decisions and risk mitigation strategies
- Defend clients in employment-related claims and disputes
- Counsel employers on compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations
- Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and other employment-related documents
- Manage employment litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution
- Support or handle wage and hour matters, including potential class action work
- Partner with clients to develop practical legal strategies aligned with business needs
Qualifications:
- J.D. and licensed to practice in California.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience, with a focus on labor and employment law
- Strong background in employment litigation, California employment law, and employer-side counseling
- Experience or strong background in wage and hour matters; class action experience is a plus
- Proven ability or experience with drafting motions, legal analysis, and managing substantive employment matters
