Director of Food and Beverage Requirements & Qualifications


  • Proven leadership experience in hotel or luxury property food & beverage operations (4-star or higher preferred)
  • Strong financial acumen with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue and control costs
  • Experience overseeing multi-outlet operations and high-volume banquet/catering programs
  • Hands-on leadership approach with a record of inspiring and holding teams accountable
  • Deep passion for hospitality, guest experience, and operational excellence


Director of Food and Beverage Preferred Background & Skills


  • Executive committee or department head experience at a luxury property
  • Expertise in menu innovation, pricing, and merchandising strategies
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting guest feedback, trends, and performance metrics


Director of Food and Beverage Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Oversee and lead all food and beverage operations, including multiple outlets, banquets, and catering
  • Collaborate with culinary and outlet leadership on menu design, pricing, and promotions
  • Develop staffing models, schedules, and workflows to maximize efficiency and profitability
  • Maintain rigorous control over food, beverage, and labor costs while ensuring outstanding quality and service
  • Foster a culture of excellence in service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction throughout all F&B areas
  • Analyze guest feedback and performance data to continually improve operations
  • Recruit, train, and grow high-performing management and hourly teams
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and company policies
