  • Competitive total compensation (salary + commission)
  • Paid time off
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) plan with company matching
  • Opportunity to make a direct impact in a rapidly growing company, with room to contribute beyond traditional role boundaries

Director of Business Development Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on commercial real estate, property management, or facility services clients
  • Demonstrated track record closing large, complex, or multi-site service agreements
  • Experience responding to and winning RFPs in a service industry
  • Existing network of industry contacts, ideally in the DMV or another major U.S. metro area
  • Ability to navigate long sales cycles and engage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 40–50% nationwide

Director of Business Development Preferred Background & Skills

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facility services
  • Familiarity with national account structures and managing multi-location contracts
  • Connections within BOMAIREM, or related commercial property management associations

Director of Business Development Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close national and multi-site commercial cleaning accounts across key U.S. markets
  • Leverage existing relationships to generate leads and build early-stage pipeline
  • Develop and execute a national account strategy with leadership, targeting key verticals and markets
  • Own the full sales cycle: outreach, RFP response, pricing negotiation, scope of work, and handoff to operations
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking forums to increase brand awareness
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data in CRM, reporting regularly to leadership
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure deliverability and support seamless account launches

  • If you thrive on building something new and want to shape the direction of a fast-growing commercial services provider, this role offers both challenge and significant upside.
