Substitute Work Opportunity
The eligibility list generated from this recruitment will be used to fill substitute vacancies within the district. This job opportunity is open to all Lynwood Unified School District employees and the public. Applications are accepted online from November 20, 2025, on a continuous basis.
The anticipated selection process may be subject to change and includes a written examination which may have multiple steps administered on different days. Participation in the examination process is by official invitation only. Candidates who do not participate and successfully pass all parts of the examination process will not be considered for the position.
This is a substitute full-time position with eight hours per day and eleven months per year. The basic function of this job is to provide support to the warehousing operations with specific responsibilities for ensuring specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct; maintaining an organized warehouse layout; transporting orders over designated routes; ensuring safe operation of vehicles; loading and unloading orders; and collecting materials from sites as assigned. This job reports to a designated administrator.
Initial qualifications include graduation from high school or equivalent, two years of experience in a job-related field, a valid forklift certificate, and a valid California Class C driver's license with evidence of insurability. You must attach the following documentation to your application upon submission:
- Proof of high school graduation or higher.
- Valid forklift certificate (the expiration date must be stated on the certification).
- Valid photocopy of your California Class C driver's license.

The tentative examination process for this position will include some form of an application screening, initial qualifications screening, supplemental training and experience application screening, documentation(s)/certification(s) screening, written examination, performance examination, illustration examination and/or the oral examination process.
