Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and movement of freight. This role oversees shipping and receiving activities, inventory accuracy, and team performance while maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and capable of driving operational efficiency while supporting both customer requirements and internal performance goals.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
Oversee all inbound and outbound cargo processes (air and ocean freight)
Ensure accurate receiving, cargo inspection, labeling, palletization, container loading (FCL), and deconsolidation (LCL)
Monitor airline cut-off times and CFS deadlines to ensure on-time departures
Verify accurate weight and dimension capture for rating and compliance
Ensure proper cargo segregation (DG, bonded, screened, etc.)
Maintain strict inventory control procedures, including CFS and Bonded Cargo
Ensure accurate system updates in WMS/TMS
Ensure compliance with TSA, CBP, OSHA, FMC, and other applicable regulations
Maintain employee training and certification records
Train employees on SOPs, compliance, safety, and quality standards
Investigate and report incidents, damages, or safety violations
Support customer visits, audits, and operational reviews
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience in a logistics environment
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and compliance requirements
Experience with warehouse management systems Magaya, CargoWise, or similar
Ability to lead a successful team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work with all levels of operation
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
