The Warehouse Dispatcher Assistant- Bilingual English & Spanish plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dispatching area. This position is responsible for coordinating the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, managing inventory levels. You will communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking team members and clients, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned. Responsibilities

• Gate control: monitor incoming and outgoing vehicles at the warehouse entrance.
• Prepare and verify dispatch documentation, including delivery tickets, packing lists, and load sheets.
• Address basic customer inquiries related to deliveries, delays, or order confirmations.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain efficient workflow and resolve operational issues.
• Verify delivery drivers' paperwork and load details.
• Assist customers with any questions or concerns.
• Provide friendly and professional experience to customers.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to maintain a secure environment.
• Maintain efficient traffic flow at the warehouse entrance.
• Provide support to team members and clients, ensuring clear communication in both English and Spanish.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Able to perform the essential duties of the job.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Physical and Safety Requirements

• Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, including hot, cold, and humid conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders or step stools and work at heights when necessary.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling materials and operating warehouse equipment.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Must follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols at all times.
• Must report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to supervisors.
