Job Summary

The Warehouse Clerk supports the inventory and warehouse operations by, this may include but is not limited to unloading/loading trailers, picking, pulling, counting, packing, and transactions. This position is an entry-level/Jr. position with training available for all responsibilities and duties required, though prior experience in various areas would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picks, pulls, counts, packs, and transacts manufacturing orders while following GMP
• Researches lost or misplaced orders or products
• Maintains proper inventory control and documentation for all material and finished goods inventory in facilities
• Answers phones and email accordingly
• Communicates errors to relevant parties
• Marks and labels stock
• Counts and confirms inventory
• Ensures cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment
• Responds to and facilitates requests for inventory/warehouse related tasks
• Delivers efficient utilization of warehouse space
• Reliable in attendance and adheres to all personnel policies outlined in the company handbook and works responsibly without direct supervision
• Competent and consistent in the completion of daily tasks and assigned work
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English and Spanish
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of Inventory systems and Warehouse operations
• Must be trained in forklift, lift, and other power equipment operation or willing to be trained and processes a valid Calif. driver's license. Forklift and lift certification should be obtained within 1 year of hire date
• Computer literate
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Proficient skillset in MS suite appropriate to job task
• Experience working in a warehouse, is preferred
• Experience working with inventory, is preferred
• Experience working with ERP, IS systems preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time throughout the shift
• Must be able to sit on a lift truck for the entire shift & must be able to lift 50 lbs
