Lumber Yard Associate / Order Puller

A growing lumber company in East Windsor, CT is seeking a reliable and hardworking Lumber Yard Associate / Order Puller to join their team. This position is responsible for pulling and preparing customer orders including siding, decking, and other building materials.

The ideal candidate is dependable, has a strong work ethic, and takes pride in maintaining a positive attitude and showing up ready to work every day.

Responsibilities:

• Pull and prepare customer orders for siding, decking, lumber, and other building materials
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Assist with organizing and maintaining yard inventory
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (experience preferred)
• Ensure orders are accurate and ready for pickup or delivery
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, or building supply environment preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus (but not required)
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail when pulling orders
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
