Warehouse Associate Job Description

As a Warehouse Put-Back Associate, you'll play a vital role in keeping the warehouse organized, efficient, and inventory-accurate. This position is responsible for returning products from staging areas, returns, and overstock back to their designated locations safely and accurately. Your work ensures smooth picking operations and a well-organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Accurately return overstock, unused picked items, and customer returns to assigned storage locations
  • Verify product numbers, quantities, and locations using RF scanners or warehouse systems
  • Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled storage areas
  • Follow inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy and product integrity
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed
  • Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect inventory
  • Adhere to all safety policies, including proper lifting techniques
  • Support other warehouse areas such as picking, packing, and receiving when needed
Warehouse Associate Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous warehouse or inventory experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to read labels, product codes, and location markers accurately
  • Comfortable using RF scanners or inventory systems (training provided)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 4050 lbs
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting
