Job Description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a radiologist and departmental protocols.


Minimum Requirements

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or completion of an accredited NMT program.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) registry required. ARRT (N) registry is acceptable where applicable.
  • State license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or general radiographer where required by state law.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine technologist experience required. Cardiac experience required (Cardiolite, MUGA, isolated MUGAs, and amyloid studies).
  • Experience performing QC, floods, isotope handling, and routine instrument regulation.
  • Experience with Cedars Sinai nuclear medicine software preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Shift details: Days 0600-1400. Procedures typically start at 0730; technologist must arrive early to receive isotopes, perform floods and QC.
  • Equipment: Dual-head gamma cameras in use.
  • Must perform inpatient and outpatient studies under departmental protocols.
