An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in perioperative care. This travel position offers a chance to apply your expertise in a dynamic surgical environment specializing in ENT (both adults and pediatrics), facial plastics, and general surgery. You'll support a multidisciplinary team delivering top-tier patient care through all phases of the surgical experience.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Operating Room RN within the specialty areas of ENT, facial plastics, or general surgery
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills to manage complex perioperative cases
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced surgical setting, prioritizing patient safety and efficient workflow

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
  • Assignment duration: approximately 13 weeks

Location:Position based near Lawrenceville, GA, with the primary surgical site located at a leading medical campus in Atlanta known for advanced surgical services and high patient satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, monitor, and assist patients undergoing ENT, facial plastics, and general surgery procedures
  • Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and operating room protocols
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to provide exceptional patient care
  • Document all perioperative activities accurately and timely
  • Maintain surgical instruments and equipment readiness
