Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years experience in Operating Room nursing
• Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced surgical environment

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care within the Breast Care Center specializing in surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Prepare and maintain the OR environment in accordance with established standards and protocols
• Educate patients and families regarding perioperative care and post-operative instructions

Assignment Details:

• Travel nursing position with a 13-week duration
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius preferred
