Job Description

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures by preparing and handling surgical instruments and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient status and report any changes to the surgical team promptly.
• Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care under the guidance of nursing staff.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Nursing professional specializing in Operating Room Technology or similar surgical support roles.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and sterile processing standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced operating room setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with interdisciplinary surgical team members.
• Current nursing license and any required certifications to practice in the state.
