Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district located in Vale, OR, is seeking two experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and one Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 20262027 school year. These full-time, on-site positions offer the opportunity to work with a diverse student population in a supportive educational environment.
Location: Vale, Oregon (zipcode 97918)
Position Type: Travel assignment within a school setting
Work Schedule: MondayThursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM; Friday with a shorter day; up to 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 25-30 students, serving K-12 (SLP) and K-6 (SLPA)
- Provide comprehensive speech-language services, including early intervention programs
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) and collaborate closely with them to support student progress
- Deliver services in various formats including teletherapy and in-person sessions as appropriate
- Participate in team meetings, student evaluations, and progress reporting
Qualifications and Experience:
- For SLP candidates: valid CCC-SLP certification and ability to work across pediatric and school settings
- Experience with teletherapy and clinical fellowship year (CFY) completion preferred
- SLPA candidates should have relevant certification and healthcare or school experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload
- Ability to supervise and mentor SLPA staff
