Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a school setting in Lillington, NC, on a travel assignment basis. The role focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy to students across elementary through high school levels, supporting their communication development and academic success.

Location: Lillington, North Carolina (Travel position)
Assignment Duration: April 13, 2026 May 22, 2026
Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours (full-time)
Setting: Onsite in a school environment (no telepractice)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy to students with diverse communication needs
  • Manage an elementary caseload primarily at Overhills Elementary School
  • Support a broader K-12 caseload as assigned, adapting intervention strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure integrated support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Previous experience in school-based speech therapy services strongly desired
  • Ability to work onsite and engage directly with students and staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships
