Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An excellent opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with CA licensure to support a diverse student population across multiple locations in El Dorado County, California. This role involves providing comprehensive speech-language services in a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 school year. The position offers travel within the county, with sites ranging from El Dorado Hills to Camino, and requires flexibility with assignments that may change throughout the semester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students with mild to moderate caseloads, with occasional severe needs.
- Provide on-site therapy and collaborate with educational teams to support student progress.
- Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed.
- Adapt to an itinerant schedule, traveling between multiple district sites.
- Maintain compliance with California state licensure requirements.
- Document and communicate student progress effectively using district tools.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP - CA Schools, SLP - CCC).
- Experience working in California schools and familiarity with SEIS preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel within El Dorado County, managing changing assignments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to provide supervision for CFs and SLPAs onsite.
Location:Positions are based in various schools across El Dorado County, with travel required between sites from El Dorado Hills to Camino. Proximity to Lake Tahoe (approximately 1.5 hours east) and Sacramento (about 45 minutes west) presents unique opportunities for travel professionals.
