Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join an educational environment in Wilmington, DE, as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers a unique opportunity to support students within a dynamic school district, focusing on early childhood education.

Position Details:

  • Location: Wilmington, DE
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute paid lunch
  • Early Childhood Hours: 8:25 a.m. to 3:55 p.m.
  • Duration: August 19, 2026, to June 15, 2027
  • Work setting: Onsite in a school environment (not virtual)
  • Caseload: Diverse school-age population with a focus on early intervention

Key Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Delaware SLP License
  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) preferred; candidates holding a Clinical Fellowship (CF) or SLPA are not recommended for this position
  • Experience working in schools and with early childhood populations is highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with students, families, and school staff

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services tailored to students individual needs
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district standards
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
