Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide leave coverage through June 12, 2026, with an on-site placement in Eugene, Oregon. This travel role offers the opportunity to work within a Special Education Service Area supporting students with diverse needs, including moderate and severe disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, and at-risk youth.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services aligned with students individualized education plans.
- Collaborate with special education teams to support augmentative communication needs, utilizing both low and high-tech systems.
- Communicate effectively and confidentially with students, families, and school staff.
- Comply with all licensing and health safety requirements, including maintaining First Aid/CPR certification if applicable.
- Participate as a professional member of a multidisciplinary service area including psychologists and behavior consultants.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder Endorsement and/or Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-Speech) preferred.
- Experience working with students with moderate and severe disabilities preferred.
- Proficiency with augmentative communication systems preferred.
- Valid Oregon drivers license.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to confidentiality.
