Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Hudson, Colorado, approximately 35 minutes northeast of Denver. This position involves supporting a K-12 caseload shared across multiple school buildings within the district, offering a diverse and rewarding work environment. The role includes collaboration with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who will co-manage and supervise the caseload, providing team-based support for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
- Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state policies.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Share caseload responsibilities with a COTA, ensuring effective supervision and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Occupational Therapy license is required.
- Credentialed as a Certified Driver Education (CDE) professional or in process to obtain certification before the start of the school year.
- Experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to travel as this position is open to therapists interested in a travel assignment in the Denver area.
Location: Hudson, CO approximately 35 minutes northeast of Denver.
