Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time occupational therapy opportunity offers a dynamic role serving K-8 students within a school setting in Avondale, AZ. This is a travel position, providing the chance to gain diverse experiences across various educational environments while delivering essential therapeutic services.
Responsibilities include providing occupational therapy services to children across the K-8 age range, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy modalities as needed. The role demands collaboration with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to design and implement individualized treatment plans that support student participation and success.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Current Arizona Occupational Therapy License and IVP Card required
- Experience in school-based OT, with familiarity in home health, healthcare settings, and teletherapy delivery considered a strong asset
- Excellent assessment, treatment, and documentation skills tailored to pediatric populations
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
