A Registered Nurse with expertise in Operating Room nursing is sought for a rewarding travel assignment in Marietta, GA. Core Responsibilities:
- Execute the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, applying critical thinking to tailor care to individual patient needs.
- Deliver patient-centered and culturally sensitive care with clear communication and collaboration involving patients and their significant others.
- Coordinate safe and quality care delivery while ensuring meticulous documentation and fostering an inclusive, respectful clinical environment.
- Participate actively in team-based performance improvement projects and shared governance initiatives.
- Maintain professional competencies through ongoing education, serve as a preceptor or mentor to nursing staff and students.
- Uphold organizational policies and legal standards including patient safety goals.
- Engage in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and protocol development to enhance clinical outcomes.
- Manage resources efficiently to support continuous improvement across the care continuum.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, Associates or Diploma required, Bachelors degree preferred.
- Current RN licensureeither single state or multi-state compact.
- BLS certification upon hire.
- Less than 1 year of experience acceptable with requisite clinical hours; previous direct patient care experience preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, emergency settings with professionalism and decisiveness.
Schedule/Shift:
- Day shift schedule, 3 12-hour days per week primarily Monday through Friday.
- Weekend shifts possible for call rotation with a 30-minute callback requirement.
