A travel opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room care. This role supports surgical procedures in a busy Main OR unit, providing critical perioperative nursing to a diverse patient population. The assignment offers an engaging environment ideal for nurses with a strong background in Meditech systems and ACLS/PALS certifications who thrive in a dynamic hospital setting.
Location Overview:Situated in the scenic Denver metropolitan area, this position is based near Littleton, CO. Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative care in the Main Operating Room, assisting with a wide range of surgical procedures excluding burns, transplants, and heart surgeries
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including trauma specialists and surgical techs
- Utilize Meditech EMR to document patient care accurately and efficiently
- Maintain compliance with unit guidelines and hospital policies ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes
- Support trauma and vascular cases, applying ACLS and PALS protocols as needed
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Proven experience in Operating Room nursing with Meditech EMR proficiency
- Active ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Familiarity with trauma and vascular procedures is highly preferred
- Self-motivated with an easy-going personality adaptable to a fast-paced environment
Shift Details:
- Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
