A 13-week travel opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to support surgical procedures in a high-quality outpatient surgical environment. This role requires strong expertise in sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and patient-centered care within the perioperative setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain sterile surgical fields and provide required instrumentation during procedures.
- Apply knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and AORN standards to support the surgical team efficiently.
- Inspect all surgical instruments and supplies for sterility, packaging integrity, and expiration.
- Monitor and maintain safety in the operating room environment, reporting and addressing any contamination risks.
- Support patient transport, room turnovers, and preparation to ensure smooth surgical workflows.
- Communicate clearly and effectively during surgical briefings and debriefings as part of the perioperative team.
- Demonstrate professional behavior and stay current on new surgical technologies and procedures.
- Participate actively in maintaining a Just Culture and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado (required)
- Completion of Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist credentials
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Competency or working toward competency with Tier 1 surgical cases
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) and capable of completing required computer-based training
Schedule & Details:
- 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week
- Guaranteed minimum of 32 hours weekly
- Preferred start date in May
This role demands physical stamina including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally while caring for patients across all age groups from neonatal to geriatric.
