Job DescriptionNursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing exceptional care in the Operating Room (OR) requires a skilled and adaptable registered nurse with experience in surgical environments. This travel opportunity in Boston, MA, offers a dynamic role where you will contribute directly to patient outcomes in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the Operating Room, circulating duties mandatory.
- Scrub experience strongly preferred to support a variety of surgical procedures.
- Experience with ambulatory cases such as sports medicine, ENT, GYN, GU, ophthalmology, plastics, general surgery, oral surgery, and minor vascular procedures is preferred.
- CNOR certification is preferred.
- BLS certification is required.
Work Schedule:
- AM shift with 10-hour days, 4 days a week (40 hours total).
- Rotation shifts with start times at 6:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., or 11:00 a.m., based on departmental needs.
- No weekend shifts, no major holiday duties, and no on-call requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgical teams through effective circulating and scrubbing during ambulatory surgeries.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and surgical standards.
- Maintain sterile environments and prepare instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and operative efficiency.
