Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Operating Room care to support a focused surgical team in Canonsburg, PA. This travel position offers a dynamic schedule with rotating daylight shifts and weekend on-call responsibilities within a compact and dedicated team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Orthopedic OR setting
• Collaborate closely with a small team of three RNs and three surgical technologists to cover two ORs, handling elective and add-on cases
• Adhere to a rotating schedule with shifts starting at 5:30 AM, 6:30 AM, and 7:30 AM, finishing once cases are completed (occasionally extending by 1 to 2 hours)
• Participate in weekend on-call coverage from 6 AM to 6 PM, approximately two weekends every six weeks; weekend call is strictly for coverage and not a high-volume shift
• Maintain flexibility to adjust to add-on cases requiring extended shift hours occasionally

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current and valid RN license with Operating Room experience
• Skilled in managing orthopedic surgical cases
• Ability to work effectively within a small, cohesive surgical team
• Comfortable with a variable daylight shift rotation and weekend on-call responsibility
• Strong communication and adaptability in a high-stakes surgical environment
