A dynamic opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse skilled in Operating Room care to serve within a travel role in the Aurora, CO area. This position offers the chance to work in a well-equipped, high-volume Main OR unit that supports a diverse range of surgical procedures, excluding burns, transplants, and hearts. Responsibilities & Duties
- Deliver direct patient care in the Main OR unit, assisting with varied surgical procedures including trauma and vascular cases.
- Collaborate with a team of OR nurses and technicians to ensure safety and efficiency in all surgical interventions.
- Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and communication, adhering to all unit policies and guidelines.
- Support trauma and vascular interventions where applicable, applying ACLS and PALS protocols.
- Participate in shift handovers, ensuring continuity of care and team coordination.
Qualifications / Desired Experience
- Active RN license with proficient Operating Room nursing skills.
- Experience using Meditech EMR system is required.
- Current ACLS and PALS certification required.
- Experience in trauma or vascular nursing strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a flexible, team-oriented attitude.
Schedule / Hours
- Night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM.
