Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers the chance to work in a well-equipped, high-volume Main OR unit that supports a diverse range of surgical procedures, excluding burns, transplants, and hearts. Responsibilities & Duties

• Deliver direct patient care in the Main OR unit, assisting with varied surgical procedures including trauma and vascular cases.
• Collaborate with a team of OR nurses and technicians to ensure safety and efficiency in all surgical interventions.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and communication, adhering to all unit policies and guidelines.
• Support trauma and vascular interventions where applicable, applying ACLS and PALS protocols.
• Participate in shift handovers, ensuring continuity of care and team coordination.

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Active RN license with proficient Operating Room nursing skills.
• Experience using Meditech EMR system is required.
• Current ACLS and PALS certification required.
• Experience in trauma or vascular nursing strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a flexible, team-oriented attitude.

Schedule / Hours

• Night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM.
