An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to support surgical patient care in a dynamic perioperative environment. Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice.

  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members during interdisciplinary rounds and documentation to ensure safe, high-quality care.

  • Serve as a mentor or preceptor to colleagues, fostering professional development and a supportive work environment.
  • Utilize technology and resources efficiently to optimize patient outcomes and care coordination across the continuum.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Associate or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and current BLS certification required upon hire.
  • Less than one year of experience accepted if clinical hours are completed in an accredited nursing program; direct patient care experience preferred.
  • Must demonstrate excellent critical thinking, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to function effectively under pressure, respond calmly to emergencies, and use technology to support clinical care.

Schedule:

  • Day shift, three 12-hour days per week.
  • Primarily Monday through Friday with occasional weekend call shifts.
  • On-call rotation with a 30-minute callback requirement.
