Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience in a busy, high-acuity setting. This travel assignment offers the chance to work evening to night shifts at a well-equipped surgical unit situated in a thriving community.

Location:
This role is based in Lone Tree, CO, a picturesque suburb known for its vibrant outdoor lifestyle, excellent dining options, and close proximity to Denvers cultural and recreational amenities. The area offers a balanced mix of urban convenience and natural beauty, with abundant parks and trails nearby.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care in a Main Operating Room unit with 284 beds and a specialized team of 55 staff members.
• Perform a wide variety of surgical procedures, excluding burns, transplants, and heart surgeries.
• Collaborate with a cohesive team including trauma RNs, trauma techs, and support staff across shifts.
• Utilize Meditech EMR system to document and coordinate patient care efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies and uphold high standards of patient safety and care.
• Respond effectively in trauma and vascular situations as needed.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid RN license with experience in Operating Room nursing.
• Proficient in Meditech EMR system.
• Certification in ACLS and PALS required.
• Trauma and vascular surgery experience preferred.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Positive, easy-going attitude that fits well with the existing team culture.

Schedule:

• Evening to Night Shifts (7PM to 7AM)

Assignment Type:

• Travel role with flexibility to relocate for the duration of the assignment.
