This travel opportunity offers dynamic cases across a broad surgical spectrumeverything except burns, transplants, and heartswithin a 284-bed hospital known for its collaborative staff and high-quality care.
Location Overview:Situated near Lone Tree, CO, this modern medical center features a fully equipped Main OR with a supportive team of 55 professionals providing round-the-clock care. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical record system and values staff who are adaptable and patient-focused in fast-paced environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams during various complex procedures including trauma and vascular cases.
- Utilize Meditech EMR system to accurately document patient care and surgical details.
- Maintain compliance with unit policies and standards, following best practices in perioperative nursing.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required, providing expert nursing support during night shifts.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with current ACLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.
- Proven experience in operating room nursing.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
- Experience or background in trauma and vascular surgery is preferred.
- Self-motivated with an easy-going demeanor to fit into a cohesive team environment.
