Job DescriptionNursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Full-Time Registered Nurse with strong orthopedic experience to provide exceptional care in the Operating Room setting. You will engage in circulating and scrub responsibilities within a dynamic surgical team over a 13-week travel assignment. The role demands active certification in BLS and ACLS and a minimum of five years of experience in the surgical environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering skilled perioperative nursing care with an emphasis on orthopedic cases
- Assisting surgical teams by managing circulating and scrub duties efficiently
- Maintaining compliance with all procedural protocols and safety standards
- Participating in on-call rotations as required
- Accurate and timely completion of timecards according to mandated guidelines
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN licensure
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Minimum five years of operating room nursing experience, specifically in orthopedic surgery
- Proven ability to handle circulating and scrub roles proficiently
- Attention to detail for documentation and adherence to timecard rules
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- Monday through Thursday
- Four 9-hour shifts from 6:45 am to 4:15 pm plus on-call duties
