A 13-week travel opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room (OR) to support the surgical team at a healthcare facility located in Kittery, ME. This role requires a strong background in orthopedic surgeries to provide expert patient care in a dynamic OR setting.

Location Overview:
Situated near the beautiful coast of southern Maine, Kittery offers a charming New England environment with easy access to beaches, historic sites, and vibrant local culture. The area is known for its scenic views and welcoming community, making it an attractive place to live and work during your assignment.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: 36 hours per week
  • Workdays: Monday through Thursday
  • Shift Hours: 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM (9-hour shifts)
  • Includes on-call responsibilities

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current active RN license with a focus on Operating Room nursing
  • Minimum of 5 years experience preferred, especially in circulating and scrub roles
  • Must have strong orthopedic experiencethis skill set is essential for the position
  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care within the OR environment
  • Assist in circulating and scrub nurse functions to support surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and comply with all timecard submission guidelines
