An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to support surgical services in Kennebunk, ME. This travel assignment spans 13 weeks, offering a chance to bring your orthopedic expertise to a dynamic OR team in a well-regarded healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room environment.
- Perform circulating and scrub duties during orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Respond to call as needed, supporting urgent and emergent cases.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to timecard and compliance policies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, specifically in orthopedic surgery within the OR.
- Proven skills in both circulating and scrub roles.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail, particularly in timecard management.
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week.
- Monday through Thursday.
- Four 9-hour shifts from 6:45 am to 4:15 pm.
- On-call availability as required.
