Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Experienced Registered Nurses with Operating Room expertise are needed for a travel assignment in Denver, CO, supporting a busy Main OR unit. This role offers an opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced surgical environment, working primarily 7 PM to 7 AM shifts.

Assignment Details:

• Unit: Main Operating Room
• Shift: 7 PM 7 AM (Night shift)
• Patient Population: Surgical cases excluding burns, transplants, and heart surgeries
• Environment: Collaborative team including trauma RNs, trauma techs, and a strong support staff
• EMR System: Meditech
• Unit Size: 284 beds, 55 OR staff members

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, efficient perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity OR setting
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams during procedures
• Maintain compliance with unit policies and uphold patient safety standards
• Utilize Meditech for documentation and patient tracking
• Adapt to variable patient types including trauma and vascular cases

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid RN license with OR nursing experience
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records
• Trauma and vascular surgery experience highly desirable
• Self-motivated, easy-going attitude to thrive in a supportive team environment
