A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with Operating Room expertise to support a dynamic surgical team in Cambridge, MA. This travel role offers a chance to apply your skills within diverse ambulatory surgical specialties and a flexible schedule with no weekends, major holidays, or on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate effectively during surgical procedures to ensure patient safety and smooth operations
  • Assist with scrub duties; prior scrub experience is strongly preferred
  • Support ambulatory cases across a variety of specialties including sports medicine, ENT, gynecology, genitourinary, ophthalmology, plastics, general surgery, oral surgery, and minor vascular procedures
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to deliver high-quality patient care

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience as a circulating nurse
  • Scrub experience is highly desirable to broaden contribution during surgeries
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) credential is preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • Experience in ambulatory surgical settings is a plus

Schedule:

  • AM shifts in a 4x10-hour rotation, totaling 40 hours weekly
  • Shift start times vary (6:30 AM, 9 AM, or 11 AM) depending on department needs
  • No weekend shifts, no major holiday work, and no on-call requirements
