Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity offers a dynamic role providing Occupational Therapy services in a school environment starting as soon as possible and continuing through the 2026-2027 school year. Located in Wenatchee, WA, this full-time position focuses primarily on Early Intervention for children from birth to three years old, with the possibility of supporting COTA professionals.
Responsibilities include delivering effective occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of young children, traveling between various school sites to ensure comprehensive coverage, and contributing to a team that is open to having two part-time Occupational Therapists. The workweek consists of 8-hour days from Monday to Friday, allowing for a structured routine.
Ideal candidates will have experience in providing occupational therapy both in traditional school settings and through teletherapy. Comfort with Early Intervention programs is essential, as is flexibility in traveling between locations. A positive attitude and strong communication skills will support collaboration across sites and with families.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with experience in school-based settings
- Knowledge and experience in Early Intervention services for birth to 3 years
- Ability to provide teletherapy sessions effectively
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between school sites
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Availability for full-time hours, Monday through Friday
