Travel Occupational Therapist School Setting in Riverside, CA

Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available, offering an opportunity to provide essential therapeutic services to students in a school setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapies as appropriate to maximize outcomes
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with regulatory and school district requirements
• Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to support student development

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license with experience in school-based therapy
• Strong understanding of pediatric development and school-based therapy strategies
• Ability to work independently while managing a caseload efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to interface with students, families, and school staff
• Flexibility to travel to Coachella, CA as part of a full-time schedule

Location and Schedule:

• Position requires travel to Coachella, CA, with an emphasis on providing services during the school year (ASAP through the end of the school year plus the following year)
• Full-time commitment, approximately 40 hours per week
