Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing Occupational Therapy services to K-12 students in a school setting requires specialized skills and dedication. This position offers a unique opportunity to deliver impactful therapy while working part time in Oakland, CA, with flexible scheduling and travel components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for students across grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to students educational and functional goals
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with students, families, and school staff
- Flexibility to travel locally to various school sites as needed
Job Details:
- Start Date: Immediate
- End Date: End of the school year
- Schedule: Part time (approximately 10 hours per week), with days per week to be determined. Hours are expected to increase as the school year progresses.
