Travel Occupational Therapist School Setting in Marion, OH

Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for travel assignments in Marion, OH, supporting school settings with an emphasis on Early Childhood Special Education (ES) placements. This role involves serving a caseload of students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade, providing critical therapeutic services to support their educational and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in preschool through 5th grade within school environments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote effective therapeutic interventions and student progress
• Monitor and document student progress and update therapy goals accordingly
• Maintain compliance with state OT regulations and school policies

Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in Ohio is required
• Experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
• Ability to manage a PK-5 caseload with emphasis on early childhood ES placements
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary school teams
• Reliable and flexible for travel assignments in the Marion, OH area
