Position: Travel ICU Charge Nurse
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Department: Intensive Care Unit
Shifts Available: Days and Nights
Pay: up to $1,491 –$2,067 gross pay per week; equivalent to $41.44– $57.43 per hour.
Assignment Length: 12 weeks

- Oversees ICU operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
- Supervises, mentors, and supports staff performance and development.
- Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
- Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness.
- Coordinates patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues through the appropriate chain of command.
- Rounds with patients and families to support a positive patient experience.
- Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing and quality outcomes.
- Ensures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, E.D. setting required.
- Previous supervisory experience, one to two years, in acute care hospital, ICU setting, required.
