ob Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Service Technician to support preventative maintenance, facility upkeep, and general operational needs within our facility. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, assisting with equipment and building repairs, and supporting day-to-day operational tasks to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
Assist with basic repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment, tools, and building infrastructure to identify maintenance needs.
Complete general facility maintenance tasks including lighting, minor plumbing, painting, and basic carpentry.
Support general labor tasks such as moving materials, equipment setup, and facility organization.
Maintain maintenance logs and report completed work or identified issues.
Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist other departments with maintenance or operational needs as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or service technician roles preferred.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, hand tools, and maintenance procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment or facility issues.
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
Basic electrical, plumbing, or mechanical repair experience.
Forklift or equipment operation experience is a plus.
