Job Description

A stable, established metal stamping manufacturer is hiring Tool & Die Makers to support high-tonnage presses and large, complex dies. This is a hands-on, production-driven role focused on minimizing downtime and maintaining tooling performance in a fast-paced environment.


Tool and Die Maker Benefits and Compensation:

    • Shift differential- $0.60 then $1 after 90 days

Tool and Die Maker Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience building, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience using precision measuring tools
  • Comfortable working directly with production and press operators
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Must haves:

  • Troubleshoot die and press-related issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform layout, fitting, grinding, and assembly of die components
  • Support medium-to-large dies running in high-tonnage stamping operations
  • Make real-time tooling adjustments during production runs
  • Maintain documentation of die repairs and tooling changes

Tool and Die Maker Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience in metal stamping environments
  • Exposure to large or complex dies
  • Background supporting progressive or transfer dies
  • TIG welding experience a plus
  • Stable work history with demonstrated long-term contributions
