A stable, established metal stamping manufacturer is hiring Tool & Die Makers to support high-tonnage presses and large, complex dies. This is a hands-on, production-driven role focused on minimizing downtime and maintaining tooling performance in a fast-paced environment.

Tool and Die Maker Benefits and Compensation:

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM
- Shift differential- $0.60 then $1 after 90 days

Tool and Die Maker Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience building, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Experience using precision measuring tools
Comfortable working directly with production and press operators
Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Must haves:

Troubleshoot die and press-related issues to minimize downtime
Perform layout, fitting, grinding, and assembly of die components
Support medium-to-large dies running in high-tonnage stamping operations
Make real-time tooling adjustments during production runs
Maintain documentation of die repairs and tooling changes

Tool and Die Maker Preferred Background & Skills:

Experience in metal stamping environments
Exposure to large or complex dies
Background supporting progressive or transfer dies
TIG welding experience a plus
Stable work history with demonstrated long-term contributions
