Job Description
Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services is available supporting a Pre-K through 6th-grade school in Gridley, CA. This role offers a unique blend of virtual and onsite collaboration, focusing on delivering effective speech therapy interventions within a school setting.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 78 students, providing speech services primarily through a VocoVision workstation. Additional responsibilities may include supporting 12 preschool transition cases and servicing about 5 preschool students. Familiarity with the Special Education Information System (SEIS) is highly advantageous. Scheduled IEP days are on Thursdays.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Current SLP credential/license with telespeech and teletherapy proficiency
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially Pre-K to 6th grade
- Skillful use of virtual therapy platforms, particularly VocoVision or similar systems
- Knowledge of SEIS or comparable Special Education information systems
