Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. Projects are primarily light commercial in nature, including banks, retail spaces, medical offices, and community buildings, ranging from tenant improvements and renovations to ground-up construction.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day jobsite operations for commercial construction projects
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met
Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
Conduct site meetings and communicate progress with project managers and stakeholders
Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution in the field
Manage site logistics, materials, and inspections
Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and project teams
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role
Experience managing commercial construction projects (retail, office, medical, municipal, or similar)
Strong understanding of construction scheduling, site coordination, and subcontractor management
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety and quality on the jobsite
