The Opportunity

UCHlth Med Ctr of the Rockies, US:CO:Loveland, SYS Regional Perioperative Sup

Pay: $76.61 - $122.58 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary:

Directs the strategic, growth, and operational objectives for the service line in conjunction with organizational strategic plans. Directs and oversees continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing an inter-disciplinary and multi-departmental approach, to achieve quality and superior patient care and services across the continuum of care. This is a regional role supporting Poudre Valley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies, and Greeley Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

The Periop Service Lin Sr Director plays a key role in the health system's strategic and operational efforts by:

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and directs strategic, growth, and operational objectives for the service line. Integrates inpatient and outpatient services and strategic plan with the mission, vision, and values of UCHealth.
  • Supports and leads from a process improvement perspective, utilizing benchmarking data to continually achieve higher levels of excellence and cost effectiveness. Maintains staffing as volumes change and works to identify opportunities to modify systems and processes to further improve quality or reduce cost.
  • Directs and oversees program development, performance management, personnel activities, budget, and the provision of services. Works to ensure effective physician and staff relations. Oversees department operations.
  • Develops and empowers management teams to lead daily operations, resolve issues, manage employee performance, manage physician relations, ensure high quality patient care and service excellence, and ensure operational efficiencies.

Candidate Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (Nursing, Business, or healthcare). Preferred: MSN.
  • 5 years of administrative leadership experience. Preferred: National certification in leadership, management, or clinical specialty preferred. Strategic leadership experience in a perioperative service environment.
