Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Stanton, TX, within an educational setting. The role involves providing direct SLP services to students and supporting speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs) in delivering quality care. This opportunity is onsite and spans from ASAP through May 23, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60-65 students requiring speech and language services.
- Supervise up to two SLPAs to ensure effective therapy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as required by school and regulatory guidelines.
- Support bilingual students; bilingualism is preferred but not mandatory.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license in the state of Texas.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working within a school setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to supervise SLPAs effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, families, and school staff.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
