Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification of clinical competence (CCC) and school-based experience to join a school district in Somerset County, Maryland. This contract role involves working onsite across multiple school locations within the district, with assignments aligned to the candidates residential area.

This role will begin on August 17th, 2026, and continue through June 14th, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek schedule. The successful candidate must hold a valid Maryland SLP license as well as a Maryland teaching certification specific to speech-language pathology.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credential
  • Maryland SLP professional license
  • Maryland teaching certification in speech-language pathology
  • Experience providing speech and language services in school settings
  • Ability to work onsite at multiple district school locations

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations for students across various schools
  • Developing and implementing individualized speech therapy plans
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Documenting and maintaining accurate student records and reports
  • Participating in school-based meetings and professional development as required
