Minimum Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required.
  • Active New York State SLP license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a pediatric SLP required. Experience in inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings preferred.
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
  • NICU experience preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Patient population: Pediatrics, ages 0–18 years, inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Shift details: Days 0700-1500. (Shift times listed as 08:00 AM–04:00 PM in facility job description; primary shift information is Days 0700-1500.)
  • Typical caseload: 8–12 patients per day.
  • EMR: Epic.
  • Required to hold Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Travel assignment duration: 8 week assignment.
